About the Organization
Since 1991, the Atlantic Forest Biosphere Network (RBMA) has been working to conserve the biodiversity and natural resources of the Atlantic Forest, promoting ecosystem protection and encouraging sustainable development. It was the first biosphere reserve created by UNESCO in Brazil and is currently the largest in the world.
