The Juçara com Farinha Theater Company works for the conservation and prosperity of the Maracanã neighborhood, located in São Luís, Maranhão. Through the art of cordel (folk poetry), the organization promotes the importance of conserving the region's environmental and cultural heritage and demands improvements from the public authorities.
